Firing to stern doesn't necessarily mean they're running away. :heh:

Spotted on Ebay..
A MiniHobby 1/200 Type IX-C . http://www.ebay.com/itm/MiniHobby-1-200 ... Swol5Yxcfp.
I compared the posted Image with the old Nichimo Kit of U511 and the parts Sprues are the same. I could find no listing of it as a New kit But I am wondering if MiniHobby has a bunch of the old Nichimo molds???
I am aware that it seams MiniHobby "Copies" ( poorly) many manufacturers Kits (ie: Tamiya Scharnhorst was the worst IMHO). Anyone have any info on the status of the old Nichimo Ship molds?

FWIW veryfire's 'graf zeppelin' whilst announced slightly earlier than trumpeter, by all accounts still has not been released (mass market anyway) yet, whilst trumpeter's one's been out for months. Clearly whilst making wooden decks and PE accessories with resin etc is well within their capabilities, the switch to injection moulding has not quite caught up the supply chain.

Also a few observations from the box art (which is hardly a credible interpretation of montanna class, what-if subject notwithstanding, more like an Iowa with the old 5inch turrets and bow etc), and 3D drawings I've seen suggests progeny from popular naval shooting games rather than faithful (to the extent it is possible on a what-if subject), makes my expectation fairly modest.

So anyone have any idea when the new 1/700 1941 Fujimi Hyuga, mentioned in the post above, will come to North America/Canada?
"Haijun" means "navy" in Mandarin Chinese.

Not "Peter Stella", but "Peter Strasser" - a putative name of the never finished sister ship (Flugzeugtrger B) of Graf Zeppelin (which was also never completed). "Flugzeugtrger B" was never launched, therefore never named.

There's even more goodies coming up for Shizuoka...

Fine Molds is finally giving the Royal Navy some love by doing Pom Poms in their 1/700 Nanodread lineup! Plus, some modern warship fittings like CIWS and Harpoon launchers/torpedo tubes.

http://www.finemolds.co.jp/iroiro/2017SHS-new.html

Aoshima also has some new 1/700 items like the JMSDF Mashu oiler, Kaitakami kaiten trainer, and the Hayasui/Bluefish combo. Hasegawa also has a new tool Yugumo coming out.

HLJ have the Hayasui and Bluefish combo for pre order as well, https://hlj.com/product/AOS01212, appears to have three versions of the Bluefish.

Also, the Fine molds pompoms, and CIWS and they look very nice indeed.

thanks for the link Caesar ,but quality wise looks very bad ,like the first Mini Hobbies Tamiya clones of the Bismarck,KG V and Missouri, the molds seem marred with no fine detail ,still wondering why VeryFire did this model instead of doing something new and more attractive,I think something creepy is behind that.
Anyway not my cup of tea, let's see how the Trump model will do
