Hobby Search shows Strasbourg as released earlier this month: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10463559

Will update that on the list.

Seems Fujimi will release 1/350 Hyuga in winter, however it is also a BBCV kit.

Actually I don't have a link, but I got a picture my friend sent to me a few days ago. BTW, I don't know whether it's true or not.

Looks like Fujimi will be releasing a 1/700 scale IJN Aircraft Carrier Shinano in November 2017

http://www.fujimimokei.com/img/catalog.pdf

The computer's translator would not work, I suppose because it is a pdf document but it looks like Shinano's shape.

Fujimi has allocated catalogue number 46022 to this kit

PS: I used the 'Search' function to check whether this been previously mentioned but knowing my luck with searching please delete this post if it duplicates something already uploaded

Yes, it's a new-mold Shinano with different rudder options, presumably based on new research: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10485000

It's part of their new snap-fit series, though there's no reason to consider it toylike - just think of it as having extra locating pins.

i would really want a 1:350 Ise/Hyuga in full battleship configuration too. since they already have the carrier battleship version developed, making the battleship version would not take as much work as developing a new kit from scratch either.

Pfff !Fully agree ! That one we had already seen as Ise some years ago. And I never understood why they never released the full BB version of these two ships.

So no new ship kits from Hobbyboss and a 1/700 Ark Royal 1939 from Trumpeter.
Hopefully it won't be the new way to go but the Ark Royal seems to be missing the bottom of the hull.....

Could mean the 1/700 New York is the last full keel from this manufacturer. :Mad_6:

Greetings,

Henk

I wonder if Doyusha is the brand under which the Academy Missouri is being sold in Japan?

Looks to be a little expensive considering no included PE is mentioned.

Also, on the heels of its recent 1/700 Yugumo releases, Hasegawa is going to be releasing new tool Asashio class DDs, in October. Most welcome. Yea! Also desk masks for both classes. Really smart. (Images courtesy of HobbySearch Japan)

Will start a new CASF thread soon for them

meh, another Yamato, we really need a new version..

I thought the bigger news(? more like confirmation) is Trumpy's big scale SMS series first landing. 1/350 Seydlitz. There's also Moltke and Derfflinger in the pipelines

Any updates on the release of the Trumpeter 1/350 Exeter announced on the first page list of this thread?
