Questions about 1/1250th ship models

Hi everyone,
I am new to this scale so I have some questions about this scale. I normally build in 1/700th so I am not sure about the 1/1250th scale.
So with this in mind,
1.What are the pros and cons to this scale?
2.Are there Aircraft carriers modern as well as WWII in this scale?
3.What about the planes on the carriers,do they have detail as well as the decals for the planes?
4.What about photo etched sets for the ships?
