Hi
Does anyone got pictures of a model painted with royal light gray?
I am thinking of using it as base color for my prince of wales:)

Re: Tamiya royal light gray XF-80 / TS-81
Hopefully none such exist
It's hard to imagine a grey less appropriate paint for an early 1941 HMS Prince of Wales to be honest although usual escape routes apply - it's your model, do what you like etc etc.
Factually, Tamiya XF-80 is lighter than the lightest camouflage colour ever used by the Royal Navy during WW2, and a green-grey at that. No such paint ever touched HMS Prince of Wales.
Home Fleet Grey was a dark bluish grey.
