I am sorry if you have already answered this, but what colors are you using for the vertical surfaces to simulate the haze grey and horizontal surfaces for deck grey?

Thanks, man! Keep up the awesome work!
XF-19 lightened with white for vertical and for horizontal if airbrushing XF-24 with XF-50 or if brushing just some Lifecolor dark gray from a KM paint set (dark gray with a blueish hue).
Doesn't really matter as it's the rest of the weathering that brings them together so my initial painting shades prolly on all the pieces are a bit different.

Excellent! Thank you very much. I will begin experimenting with them as well

Some railings, radars, life rafts, boats and derricks, gun controls and details details details and prolly a few details!

Still targeting end of the year for finishing. Everytime I look at reference I find something small I missed so it's never ending

Bravo Koppalakki! Excellent work from Finnland: 12 points! :wave_1:

I had the chance to visit the USS Iowa in Oslo in 1990 (?) - and the only thing that was different from your model was the colour of the deck. Very, VERY dark brown it was! But- then it was (as it often do) raining in Oslo that day, so it might have been darker than in sunny weather!

Your workbench - looks terrible - and looks like a copy of my own...

Thanks everyone for your support and compliments!

I finished the top mast. Then suddenly I started to crave for some rigging. Few hours later the beast was rigged!

Tried to get it as accurate as I could with the reference I had available. Also rigging being one of the things I strive to get better aswell!

Maybe some mad rigging project next who knows!

Also finished the Harpoon launchers if you didn't notice!
