I have a 1/144 model of the USS San Francisco that I'm building and found myself in need of the small boats. I just received the 3d prints from Shapeway and thought they turned out very well so I am sharing.
The model was generated in Fusion360 from autodesk. I was able to get original boatyard plans and built the model to scale. Here's a couple of screen captures of the CAD model.
and the printed model, sorry its a little hard to see; I'm sure it'll look better once I clean it up and get some paint on it.
Now I just need to finish up the 26ft whaleboat model and I'm set.

I actually got the plans for the 36ft from the Barbour collection. They had a few of the sections so I had to work the rest from looking at a few sparse pictures. For the 30ft that I actually need all they have is a profile and plan view; and I haven't been able to find any pictures so I'm stuck. Got great plans for the 26ft that I just placed an order for. I'll post pictures of that one when the models arrive.

I am not familiar with Hexagon or the intuious tablet, so I cannot offer any specific help.
My experience with drawing tablets has been very frustrating. Drivers for tablets often are so finely tuned to the specific tablet that a lot of software cannot work with them. I never got my HP tablet to work as a drawing tool, so I tossed the useless junk in the trash about 20 years ago. I have used trackballs ever since.
There is one thing you might try. Windows handles all input/output for programs working under Windows. Every program depends upon the Windows driver for the user input device. You might try using the tablet with the standard Windows mouse driver. That was the only way I got the HP tablet to work. But, unfortunately, all special features like pressure sensitivity for controlling line width will be lost.
Another problem with using a mouse driver for tablets is that when you raise the pen you lose all position information. Windows assumes that if you lift the mouse and set it back down again the cursor position (drawing position) does not change. So when you pick up the tablet pen, move it, and set it back down again the cursor will still be in the last position. This is exactly the opposite to how most tablets are supposed to work.

You might want to take a look at Windows tablet/laptop hybrids that have pen capability built-in, like their Surface line of devices. They don't have the problem DrPR describes about remembering the previous position, as your pen is working directly on the display and wherever you place your pen is wherever the cursor is in the window.
