Well...PoW has already been released in two versions, and Scharnhorst and Gneisenau has been noted for release hopefully in '19.dagovee wrote:
Hoping they follow those up with 700th versions like they did with Bismarck!

Speaking of Flyhawk, their Kajika divison is releasing new tool 1/700 IJN carrier aircraft in February. With separate, clear canopies.
I find this surprising. I'm sure these will be a welcome improvement over the current offerings in their own right, but could this be indicative of something else as well? Tantalizing. (Images courtesy of Hobbysearch Japan)

Flyhawk has released the MAS and PT-boat in 1/700. Flyhawk sure didnt make a big noise about it. They dont even have it on their homepage?

That's quite common, especially on the English-language version of their page.burtus05 wrote:Flyhawk sure didnt make a big noise about it. They dont even have it on their homepage?
Good news nonetheless, thanks for the link.

What's this about: "DOES NOT SHIP TO CANADA"! Did Australia suddenly declare war on Canada? Cut diplomatic, or economic ties?I thought we in bad enough with China, lately!burtus05 wrote:Flyhawk has released the MAS and PT-boat in 1/700. Flyhawk sure didnt make a big noise about it. Likely due to the Canadian postal workers' strike. Hannant's was not shipping to Canada either while it was an issue. If you want to order you could email the seller.

Soviet destroyer Tashkent. The one with a decent war record as a blockade runner in the Black Sea. A handsome Italian-style ship.
I think all of those named have been listed before on page 1 of this post.
Oh, and where's the 1/700 Belfast? Is 700th not worth bothering with for Trumpeter (or Dragon) now? I'll have to 'make do' with the excellent Flyhawk. And Aoshima..

There'll be a 1/350 JMSDF Chokai and Myoko as well: https://www.facebook.com/TrumpeterModel ... =3&theater
Note that these photos are from this Facebook post, which are only 17 of the total catalog pages - so the lack of 1/700 subjects (or any other subjects) posted so far is not indicative of a lack of upcoming 1/700 (or any other) kits.

Which doesn't seem to include the 1/350 scale HMS Nelson and HMS Rodney listed in previous years catalogues.

Re: *Inj. molded plastic* Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
On Flyhawks homepage you can see ships that are to be released in 1/700. Most of the ships have been announced before. Hms Kelly was announced back in 2016, I hope that Flyhawk will release her in 2019.

Re: *Inj. molded plastic* Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
Thanks, Burtus05. There is some new stuff (to me, at least) on the Flyhawk post. Formidable, Victorious, London, the very welcome two Leanders (a pretty lucky class on the whole), the unfortunate Sydney, only Kelly out of all the potential sisters, Hunt type 1 HMS Mendip, Duke of York, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, several WW1 ships of which I can't remember seeing the Gin Palace before. Plenty for a 1/700 modeller to be getting on with. Did I mention the Dorsetshire?

I can see a grand coming out of my wallet. (From somewhere I got the impression that the Gin Palace would be the next out.) I wonder If they'll have a Mousquet included with the Emden. She'd be small enough.

Thanks for posting Burtus. I hope Moltke sees the light of day in '19.
And a prosperous 2019 to all the model makers - both manufacturers and the craftsmen here!
