Hi mariano Try Model Boats plans on the Model Boats web site HMS Penelope is listed at MM1278 . It's basic an easy model to build but looks quite good and is to a scale of 1:144 scale .
Hope this helps

I made the MM Hms Penelope many moons ago and used it as a target ship for Big gun battling.
Very basic plan and can be made in an afternoon no problem.
Probably still have the sheet somewhere if you are really keen, but it would take considerable scratchbuilding to make it half pie decent.

hi mariano
In a small book issued in 1975 by David MacGregor Plans of Norman A Ough drawing there is drawing of HMS Penelope -1936 this book was a marking device by the puhblisher which then references there large scale plans in this case "HMS Penelope Cruiser (1936-44) O/S/10 " still the drawing in the book is quite good but with some of NA Ough drawing they need to checked with other references ie Raven and Roberts British Curisers of WWII
Webb warships in the 1970 also did a small plan of Penelope 1938 which athough small would be useful dosn't show much detai but it depents on what scale you intend to build
I cant sent you a copy of these plans there about 1.5 mb each please sent me pm if you want them

it is a russian book on arethusa class with some very good drawings (penelope in '39) and a lot of foto. is also on net at url

the drawings are at
http://Links to this site not allowed due to copyright violations./Magazine/MK ... /index.htm
the foto and some color profile at
http://Links to this site not allowed due to copyright violations./Magazine/MK ... age_01.htm
http://Links to this site not allowed due to copyright violations./Magazine/MK ... age_02.htm
the only problem is the slowness of downloading and the necessity of using a browser different from explorer, you can use mozilla firefox (open source) and when the download stop click on recharge button. you will do this three or four times for each foto, have a lot of time but the result will be satisfactory
for a resonable translation from russian you can use altavista

whats this model boats? i've tried googling but to no avail. i'm interested in a ship that only takes 1 day to build, or close.
It's not who you are, but what you do that defines you.
