When I think of it, and when you look closely at the decals, it must by Javelin that they are preparing.

IBG has announced on Facebook that their mid-May releases, among the planes and tank, include these:

70007 - 1/700 - ORP Garland 1944 G-class Destroyer
70012 - 1/700 - HMS Ithuriel 1942 I-class Destroyer

I expect Glowworm, Harvester, Hotspur and Ilex to follow pretty soon. These represent a holy grail for me.

.

Now all I have to do is find someone who sells them in the UK.

There is no problem buying IBG's previous Hunt Class in the UK, all decent model shops have them at about 12.

I'm waiting especially for Glowworm. I'll have to pick up a Trumpy Hipper, then.

Now, I don't want to get anybody excited on what might be a false alarm, but while looking in Hannants for the IBG G-I class (15.50 coming soon) I found that they refreshed the Masterbox entries in the last couple of weeks. That is the five Jutland kits first announced in 2011 and probably listed in the first pages of this long post. They announced, back then in 2011, that they planned to do everything which fought at Jutland. That's very ambitious, but if the first five are indeed coming it should cheer up you WW1 1/700 guys..

ICM has the first 4 in both full hull and waterline in their catalog and may have released all of them. I have the Konig kit. Not sure if any of the others are actually released. Trumpeter has done the Dreadnought with a full hull option. FlyHawk has done 2 HSF BC's.

My Flyhawk HMS Kelly is on it's way, not sure if it's on a slow boat from China, but I do have the tracking number.

The "blue cruiser"! Nice. In 1/700 there is the Combrig and Samek kit. I had built a model from the Combrig one, but the fit with the twin 13 cm turrets.

I guess that Trumpeter will also release the version with the twin turrets.

I ordered one from Aurora Model Shop last week. They're a reliable shop with the lowest prices, but take up to 2 months for delivery! Plenty of time to finish up other projects in the meantime.

My past experience tells me goods from dawngrocerystore on eBay comes in around 2-3 weeks (China-Croatia), on regular times, meaning not on the year rush time, like around Christmas.

Aurora is an eBay seller, IDK if they sell directly under that name but I think not.
They're quite visible on US eBay; I've bought from them too and would again.

This is the auroramodelshop:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Flyhawk-FH1119 ... SwfKRcxvpg

And same kit on dawngrocerystore:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Flyhawk-1-700- ... 2749.l2648

Dawngrocerystore seems to have a bit lower prices and I had numerous purchase from them over the years without any issues, coming in 2-3 weeks here in Europe.

Edit: thes are Deluxe versions with PE and brass barrels
