Their prices are better than Japanese vendors, and MUCH better than US outlets. The non-deluxe edition is also available for some 15 - 20 dollars less. I've ordered from Globaltoy before and consider them a trusted vendor.
However, I wil still wait until Aurora, or Dawn, model shops have them, as I do most of my business with these two stores.

Don't worry. I have ordered more than fifteen times from Globaltoy. All orders have been delivered without any problem. Actually, my favorite eBay model shops are "dawngrocerystore" (usually the best prices for the Five Star Model upgrade sets), "auroramodelshop", "sunlightmodelstore" and "globaltoy"

Aurora (or Dawn - same owner) is the best bet as Deluxe Scharnhorst is some 12 - 13 USD cheaper (including shipping) from them. Not connected to them - just like their prices and service!

500 kits. In just a couple of weeks. Most to dealers, and a big majority of that to Japan. Only a handful of direct sales in the USA. I can tell it's going to do better outside this country. And it will do even better once the aircraft are ready for future runs.

Has there been any word on the release date of the new Trumpeter 1/350 Bismarck? From the few photos I have seen it looks like a very accurate kit.
