Re: 1/200 USS NIMITZ - 2003
Thank you very much Chris. I am pretty sure those walkways will be a nigthmare, but the airwing is also a tedious work. Anyway I am currently working on SuperHornets but it is posible that in the next days I change my efforts to the hull of the Nimitz.

Re: 1/200 USS NIMITZ - 2003
Hi guys
As I posted recently I have had family problems at home related with my dad.
He sadly passed away last 7th august and I will probably be away from modelism for a period of time.
I hope I can return to my carrier build soon.

So sad to read this. Take your time and don't forget to have a look at what other are doing here very once in a while.

Re: 1/200 USS NIMITZ - 2003
Jorge,
So sorry for your loss. My mother passed away 5 years ago this October. After all of the hospital visits, ER trips, in-home hospice, her passing, the Rosary, and finally the funeral mass-I found that finally sitting down at the workbench for a few hours after months away very therapeutic. In a time when your world has tumbled out of control, it was nice to sit down and create something again. Even a little portion of a build can help with the healing.
Looking forward to seeing your work again and wishes for better days ahead,
David
