An early SCB-125 island for USS Yorktown CV-10 as it appeared from 1955-1960 is now available in 1/530 scale for Revell. During 1956, she was embarked with Air Task Group 4. During 1957, Carrier Air Group 19(CVW-19) was embarked aboard ship. From 1958-1960, she carried various anti-submarine warfare squadrons.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!

Another 100 nameplates for ship, submarine, armor, fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter models have been added to the catalog.
There are now more than 750 nameplates to choose from. Nameplates are available in your choice of real metals or inexpensive, paintable acrylic plastic. Nameplates feature raised lettering and a decorative rope border.

Link: https://www.model-monkey.com/nameplates

Available metals include brass, bronze, silver, gold-plated brass and rhodium-plated brass. If budget permits, consider choosing rhodium-plated brass. Rhodium is a platinum metal that does not tarnish.

Here are a few of the new 100:

Hi Steve, I'm sure I know the answer to this already, but I was looking through your catalog and saw you offer the 'Big 5' cage masts in 1/350, any chance to see it in 1/700? I'm guessing they'd probably be too fine to print properly, but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. I've tried contacting the other two companies that offered them in 1/700 with no replies so far. I'm looking forward to the parts i ordered sms will definitely be buying more. Thanks

Hi Abram,

Great hearing from you and thanks for the interest!

Regarding 1/700 scale cage masts, I regret to report, no. They are too fragile in that scale for the tech I use or have access to. The best I can do is 1/350 scale.

And thanks for your order! I'll do my best to get you some great models.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Nameplates for all Vanguard class SSBNs have been added to the catalog, Leipzig class light cruisers, Invincible class battlecruisers, and most Colossus class aircraft carriers, too.

Many of these nameplates work perfectly for several different ships that shared the same name. For example, the nameplate for HMS Vanguard is wholly appropriate for the UK's last, great battleship, as well as the SSBN, and a 74-gun third-rate.
