continued improoving the davids......and they starting to look good....then you place it on the ship...and go...fu.. they are too large..at least hight is ok...
so some more work waiting to get it right

I would say that these stands are years light ahead of mine. I made the characteristic holes in my davits using the point of my X-acto blade !!!!

txs for your comment Willie...lets say I have better equipment than you had...good equipment is vital if you wanna do a good job
I'm sure today you could easily do same.
now ...for the holes...that was very difficult work in the sence you must be carefull staying center...and you must keep the stability of the bar, I had to go at a slow pace when increasing the diametre

when making ...didn't think about difference of place on ship would make much difference....wrong....had to put rear support less far in order to be able to place it
it is pretty crowded there with the 2 davids and the watch tower

well...the third one will have to be smaller, as same size wouldn't fit at all...started already but this one will be almost fully plastic

as the kit guns are of poor quality....I decided to go for 3D printed one, and received them today from distefano 3d print...I must say ...they are realy awesome and realistic...can't wait to see them done and on the ship
