pre-war #20 deck grey

Post by mister me »

hello !

I have now a question concerning pre-war deck grey :

S&S chip seems to be very blue oriented. not so far from navy blue and early ocean grey.

but in some other sources, this deck grey is to be somewhat "neutral".

i matched my own mix (more or less) to my S&S chip, but dont know what to do yet : towards blue grey OR neutral ?

in other words : is S&S chip REALLY trustable ?

some clues ? some FS approximations ?

thanx !

I've come across some paint chips and formulas in my research trips but #20 Deck Gray is not one of them, so I have nothing helpful, unfortunately.

Oh. If even you didn't found anything!

I will keep my mix then, as my s&s chip seems to be my only source...

Thank you.
