Superstructure progress: Installed funnel on lower structure along with the associated platforms. Much progress on the main superstructure, but only test fitted onto main portion. Veterans searchlights and binoculars:

Joseph, this is a great job not only on Yamato bit on the other ships too!

One technical question: How did You approach to funnel painting? How did You mask it? It looks sharp!

Keep on going! Your thread is the only reason why I do not show progress on my Yamato. You just do it do well!

Thank you guys! Please don't refrain from posting on my account! I masked the funnel before putting in the piping and painted the piping to match the line by eyeballing it.

Since Yamato was sunk 75 years ago today it seemed like a good time to post an update. I finished adding details to the main superstructure including the rigging. It's ready for installation.
