Does anyone know if Trumpeter are picking up Gallery Models kit moulds and re-releasing? I notice Hannants are listing the Gallery LPD21 �USS New York� but out of stock, but also a Trumpeter LPD21 �USS New York� with a description of �(ex Gallery)� in their future releases section. My question (or wish) is are they going to also buy out and release Gallery�s CV11 USS Intrepid?

Gallery kits were tooled up by Trumpeter in the first place I believe. So seeing a re-release of the Intrepid at some point is probably gonna happen. When I have no idea.

I see Trumpeter's 1/350 SMS Viribus Unitis and Szent Istvan now have pictures of boxart, so I guess it is happening soon.

Same as the 1/350 Bismarck, Tirpitz ,Gorizia,Tashkent 1942,Calcutta ,Colombo and the hydroplane carrier version of the Langley.

So may take another 6 months or so ,all depends on Trumpeter's mood.

But is their website already up and running?

Flyhawk 1/700 German S-7 Class Torpedo Boat

Just the s-7 not including the Chung King ex Aurora. I bought the remaining 6. The seller is the same modelstore that sold me several Flyhawk PT boats and MAS boats a year back.

It is odd that I have not seen these models sold separately before!!!!

Well, that is still something, especially when I think of their 1/700 Belfast that still has no box-art (after cca 5 years in their catalogue)!

Yeah I would use the opportunity to work on the stash and forget about getting stuff from China until May (when it will be warm and virus will just end).

Not to worry it has already been sent. I am sure the Chinese government will understand that plastic models in the scale of 1/700 is a vital export product and that they must prioritize the production and the shipment of such products.

Just to share my recent experience on this matter.
Somewhere in October I got Flyhawk 1/700 POW from downgrocery on eBay, but, unfortunatelly, 1 sprue (ammo boxes) was missing.
After contacting seller, at the end of October he sent me the missing sprue (off course, without any additional payment).
Since the yearly "rush hour" for Christmas and New Year gifts was approaching, the Chinese customs were on the higher alert.
Long story short, thru tracking system I was able to realize my parcel (10x10x2 cm) was on to airplane and returned for security checks no less than 4 times.
At the end, it took some 2 months rather then regular 2 weeks for parcel to reach the destination.

Holding my fingers crossed that everything goes smooth for your parcel.

I have a B-Resina Jupiter in the stash. I will though be building the Aoshima Jupiter at some point as one of her sisters. My IJN favorites now are, merchants, followed closely by I-Boats! The I-60 is a must have!

This appears to be the first (and I hope not the last) co-operation between Pit Road and Flyhawk - discounting the Kajika label which seems to be primarily an offshoot of Flyhawk. My Kagero's on the way, too!
