USS ENTERPRISE TAMIYA 1/350 HELP ME PLEASE

Post by ixianja »

at first hello to everybody and forgive me for my bad english speaking...i am french.

I would like to know if somebody could help me where to find the guardrail (or fences , i am not sure how to say) used by Pekka Rautajoki for example http://www.modelshipgallery.com/gallery ... index.html , i mean by "guardrail" the fences for that nobody falls in the sea , you can sea them very well on the "control tower" of the aircraft carrier of Pekka and by every sides of his ship , all around teh flight deck.. i hope somebody can understand me
So my question is where to buy these fences ??

And i would like to know if it exists some decals kits of the differents squadrons of the us navy for 1/350 modern war aircraft ans if it exists , where to buy these kits ??

About the crew of the flight deck ??

Thanks a lot in advance to help me

best regards to everybody

Gold Medal Models makes an Enterprise Photo Etch detail kit, which includes everything you're talking about. L'arsenal of France makes crew figures in that scale as well.

Gold medal also makes decals for three airwings who where on the enterprise, if you building hear out of the box you need the CVN ENTERPRISE "LO-VIZ" AIR WING DECALS - WEST COAST (1/350 SCALE) decal set, they are for sail directly from Gold Medal or you can buy them in england by White Ensing models (they also have the PE sets) http://www.whiteensignmodels.com

I hope this helps a bit

why is their such a big price difference in the two? GMM is $36 and WEM is about $50. Also does anyone make any detail kits for the hanger? I'm in the process of buying my second Enterprise(my first one got messed up bad during two moves and was missing parts) and would like to go all out with it. I now have a work space that I can build it in and not be bothered. I would like to do the hanger deck and would like to know if anyone makes a detail set for it. I've been out of building models for sometime now and would like to know who makes the best matching colors or do I have to mix my own. Any help/tips/words of advice would greatly be appreciated. thanks

some of the price difference might be because of a weak dollar against the pound, i noticed that with the yamato sets, which aren't the same but do not justify a nearly double price.
