Off Topic Cleaning Headlights

Post by richter111 »

Just thought I would pass this along to all of us poor saps that own a car with plastic headlights.

When they become yellowed or less than crystal clear, they throw off less light, plus look bad

Take an old sock, squirt some toothpaste onto it. Wet the old sock, and polish the plastic lens. Dont use too much pressure, and wet the area from time to time.

I did it to my 92 Crown Vic today and the lens turned out crystal clear.

When done, wash them off with some soapy water and dry them. You really will be amazed at the difference. My headlight lens looked brand new.

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Yep. The same can be done to clear canopies on wingy thingies. They look great when finished.

Cheers.
