Would be ok - if that one will have a waterline option. But for sure, there are other kits which were announced long time ago (Nelson 1/350, Belfast 1/700...)

Motor tool, cutting wheel, a little sand paper and suddenly it's waterlined. Never stopped me.

Sure, but I think that a company, which produces 1/700 kits without waterline option, should not get any money. 1/700 is a classical waterline scale. I still have a WEM kit of the Type 23. The Trumpeter ones would have been cheaper, so useful for conversions. But conversion plus waterlining, because a company does not care? Hmm, then other projects appear much more interesting! And there are always hundreds of new ideas ;)

I just wonder when they're going to release their Fairmile, "S", PT and MAS boats as a set

I used to wish for that too, but the S Boot is the odd man out as it is of the S-7 class, and less than ten were produced, and all were sold, or scrapped, long before WWll. An S-38, 38b, or 100 class would be much more useful.

Very Fire's 1/350 USS Cleveland is now up for sale on eBay and elsewhere.
Sister ship USS Birmingham is due in August.
A detail set with PE, decks etc is in the works and a deluxe kit with the kit and detail set in one box will follow.

A detail set for HMS Cornwall has also been released and is for sale on the internet.
A set for HMS Kent is in the works.

I'm REALLY, REALLY looking forward to Moltke. Seems like the wait is going on forever.

And it probably will...world-wide deliveries are at a snail's pace, and even domestic mail can take weeks! :Tirade:

Is it known if Pit-Road will release a kit with PE parts for the guided missile destroyer Amatsukaze?

There is the announcement for the plastic-only version:
https://www.hlj.com/1-700-scale-jmsdf-d ... 65-pitj-88

But both the masts and the crane ask for PE parts.

There is no mention of a PE set on their website or Twitter, but I wouldn't be surprised if they put one out, or in conjunction with one of the other aftermarket companies.

I only see it from one seller located in China who is away until Jun 30 and doesn't ship to the USA.
It seems kinda odd considering no other retail outlet has it listed.

That seller usually has Flyhawk kits first. The limited shipping is odd though. Probably because of the covid19 situation.
