Hi Guys, As you know some time this year I will be starting a new project, some one wanted to know , could he build a long with me at the same time , the same subject,

1 DD
2 1/72 SCALE
3 ABOUT 5FT -6INS
4 American
5 No plank on frame.
6 We will be making our own fibra glass hull.

I have told yes if he wants, and have given him the name of the ship, so he can get things ready for his build along.

If any one else is interested , please give me a pm

hey ron,

i'd love to but unfortunately i suck at building hulls and dont want to waste time trying that with a DD when i'm already going to attempt in with the Ohio sooner or later. when you said fiberglass hulls i got giddy thinking maybe if i bought a hull from you i could do superstructure along with you.... but that would be crazy pricing to send something so big across the pond. so unfortunately, i'll just have to sit back and watch.

best of luck and i hope you start soon.... get this puppy done before i'm consumed by essays in college.
It's not who you are, but what you do that defines you.

Alas I will not be actually constructing with you Ron...

BUT:

... what an EXCELLENT concept-- I shall be following the build( like I did with the ID and all the other excellent scratchbuilds on the board these days!!)

I cannot think of a better person suited to tutoring others along the sometime perilous journey of a large scale scarctbuild!!

More power to your elbow!! :wave_1: :wave_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

Best wishes to you and your band of followers !!

....I buy them at three times the speed I build 'em.... will I live long enough to empty my stash...?

I might be interested. Ah, I'd need someone to house and feed me during the build. :woo_hoo: :woo_hoo: :woo_hoo:

Not for me either Ron. I have the Marlborough to finish off after the Vic, before I even think about starting something else. :heh: :heh: :heh:

But as always I will be following this with the same interest as I did with the Duke. :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:
