Advice on porthole filling needed
Hi I am just wondering what others have done for 1/350 scale modelling after drilling out portholes what is best to fill the holes to simulate glass. All ideas would be great thanks.

I use Plexiglas rods turned to size and flat at the front and then polished. They are inserte with piece of wood with a shallow step to ensure uniform depth.

Re: Advice on porthole filling needed
I model 1/700 mostly so portholes anen't an issue, but for bridge windows, etc., I brush on Micro Scale Crystal Clear. Best applied from the inside to avoid over-spill onto hull or window frames. For 1/350 portholes I would apply Crystal Clear from the inside hull BEFORE glueing the deck down!
