Paint Shaker Balls

Post by reigels »

Having seen a number of stainless steel paint shaker balls available online, I wonder if theres actually any benefit to stainless steel over the regular (read cheap) BBs that I have been using for years. I have never actually noticed an issue with discoloration, and the few balls that I have recovered from empty paint bottles are generally a little pitted, but not rusty or falling apart.

Has anyone here had an issue over time with steel BBs and the paint bottles? I have been using almost exclusively lacquer and enamels. Perhaps a difference in some water base paint?

Those sure don't look like the copper-colored BB's I used in my BB gun when I was a kid! Those look like real KILLERS!
