MASTERS OF THE AIR--Eighth Air Force miniseries

Post by dragon53 »

Although it doesn't involved warships, this miniseries should appeal to those who are interested in World war II.

MASTERS OF THE AIR---Cary Fukunaga (NO TIME TO DIE, TRUE DETECTIVE) will direct the first three episodes of the Tom Hanks/Steven Spielberg/Apple TV+ miniseries based on the book about the Eighth Air Force bombing Nazi Germany in World War II. MASTERS OF THE AIR is the companion miniseries to BAND OF BROTHERS and THE PACIFIC. The writers are the BAND OF BROTHERS team of John Orloff and Graham Yost. Filming begins in London in March, 2021.

I hope this is good. The air war deserves some attention, but will it just be vacuous propaganda like Saving Private Ryan? Band of Brothers was much better so hopefully it will follow that path.
