Hi everyone, I just got this from a friend and I thought I'd pass it along. If you're interested it would help a museum in need. The last time I was there they did not take credit cards so I believe it's check or money order:
Spread the word far and wide!
The Bremerton Naval Museum is indeed reprinting From Nipsic to Nimitz (A history of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard)!! It is an exact reprint (no changes/updates) and they have ordered an initial 2,000 copies which I think will not last the year. Here's the details.
If you order before August 1, the price is $55 plus 6 bucks for shipping/handling and tax (for WA folks, I would guess) comes to around 4.73 for a total around $66 bucks. After August 1, the price goes to $65. Folks need to call the museum to order or get info on sending in a check/MO. I would think that they take credit cards but I'm not sure.
I am not sure if they will print more after the 2000 are gone or not so I could be the last chance to get one at a decent price. All the profit goes to the museum which sorely needs the money. Originals are selling on Ebay for $250-400 lately.
