TRIVIA---in the KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER episode "The Werewolf", Eric Braeden played Bernhardt Stieglitz, a werewolf who preyed on the passengers and crew of the ocean liner Hanover, and Bob Hastings played one of the Hanover's officers. Ironically, both actors appeared in hit movies about ocean liners.
In TITANIC, Braeden played John Jacob Astor IV.
In THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE, Hastings played the MC (and he played Lt. Elroy Carpenter in the McHALE'S NAVY tv series and McHALE'S NAVY JOINS THE AIR FORCE movie).
