USS Saratoga (CV-3)
Here we have the waterline model of the USS Saratoga (CV-3) by Tamiya. At 1/700 scale and 15� long it appears that she has run aground. She also displays the very seldom used �ocean blue� deck camouflage, hopefully to disguise her from enemy aircraft. (I actually don�t have the patience or skills of many of you master modelers, just basically have some fun) I understood that the black stripe on her stack was to distinguish her from the Lexington which resembled her to a �T�.
