Im goin to use brush to paint a plastic model with tamiya paints...what is the difference between
Tamiya Color Acrylic paint
Tamiya Color Flat Acrylic paint
Tamiya Mini Color Acrylic paint
Tamiya Mini Color Flat Acrylic paint

whats the difference???

In my experience, you'd be better off not using Tamiya Acrylics if you are going to be brush painting - whilst they are excellent through an airbrush, I've never got them to brush well no matter what I try.

Tamiya Acrylic Paint is gloss. Tamiya Flat Acrylic Paint is flat. The Mini bottles are smaller than the regualer bottle which is a bit oversized in diameter.

If you brush Tamiya, put on several light coats, letting it dry between coats, instead of one thick coat.

Hi,

If you want to use acrylic, buy vallejo paint. Best on the market by a long way if you are not that bothered about exact colour accuracy.

The new Revell AG acrylic paints (in the blue rectangular pots) are also excellent for brush painting, though their range of colours is fairly limited (no decent light grey, for example) and I'm not sure if they're available in the USA yet.
