some from pictures...but also logic thinking.....on a ship there are always handrails when there is a danger ..no captain wants a sailor falling overboard or fall even from 2 meters....so I imagine myself on board and do what needs where must

didn't have much time lately...did some more riggs...and ...found a solution how to fix life boat..also the second grue is now fixed

now she 's almost done...how am I gonna put my ships ...on view and safe from dust...

as I have many to come...must think ahead...so first...all my capital german WWII surface ships in one box ..bottom wood...rest transparent plexi
rear ships elevated to have max view

and to give idea of size...with H44 ...wich was my initial thinking...but when looking at details like bringing up lenght, beam but mainly draft...a bit complicated with my kit
FYI, for the image I used bismarck and scaled it up, gave it a slight proportion alternation to correspond the size projected of lenght vs wide

fixed last details, 20 mm AA guns host the flag....she's done and ready for action
took fast a pic, I'll see ...that is if you want me to do so, to make some more when light is better.
hope you enjoyed my build...and specialy I hope you like my Admiral Scheer...
done in 2 months and 2 days from start

Very nice work. If they're all on a shelf, use a custom acrylic case top to protect from dust.

building a self made shell of 50X25X25cm at the moment...not easy to cut the 4mm plexi though

Fully agree with Dan K. Get an acrylic cover as soon as possible. The dust with negate all of your efforts.

50 X 25 X 24.6 (Length x deep X High in cm)...its a first make...mainly a material try....cutting, glueing...is it ok or not
result.... tomorrow when I take off protection ....need to dry well first
I'll place it on a wooden bottom later on if it is good

I can place all thats finished already in there

now that I have better cable for riggs...I'll probably re-do the riggs on the german WW II sub...and maybe but that's a very maybe also on Marceau...we'll see

ok....here's result...it's not good enough for me...but will do the job for the moment
learned a serious lesson...don forget the glass thinkness.....I did forget lol...also ...next...I'll be better on the glue
as said..its a learning process...
