Hi Nicolas,
again amazing detailing for the last 1% and intresting that you finish a model at least with same last step as I do: Installation of propellers.
I make because I had at first ship I ever build bad experinece with a broken blade. Also I install rudder mostly at end of building (as now at Sevastopol, because back rudder is in exposed position and could easy break off).

HI gents
thank's Christian for your kind words
the latest work ,I expose my "way of making". in the plastic card of 0.05, that I prefer to Paper , who drink the paint . I cut my flags by giving them a form that they are not "frozen", but above all , enjoying the plastic card is white, I masking the parts that will remain
So there is the national Flag (3 colors in strip ,at least one advantage of being French

) the mark of a "Vice Amiral" in french( white cross on back red and blue with two small stars) and finally, the flag Mike (white St. Andrew cross on back blue)
then the colors are applied one by one , by protecting the areas already painted
the result, and to give you all the sizes ..my coin of 1 cts
then, with high-tech equipment, 3 toothpicks, 2 stuck on a piece of cardboard, and one which serves to give shape to my flags
the result final
it remains for me to put it all in place
best regards
Nicolas

Very good work indeed ! However, the flag falls a bit off - or rather not ... its movement is not very natural. I think aluminium foil would be better proposition. I would also consult from photographs as to how flags move in a slight breeze.

Hello wefalck
the movement is very hard to reproduce, but , in true, my flag is more natural (effect of the shot???)
I tryed the aluminium foil ,and the effect,do not convinced me, I think it will stay like that
thank you for the interest for my mounting and your participation
cheers

Hi Nicolas,
I have had some success using tissue paper or cigarette rolling papers to make flags. I tape it to a piece of paper and print the required flag. The ink will pass through the tissue paper so you get a double sided flag, you can get a soft edge so you may need to experiment. I have neatened up the edges by brush painting or with the airbrush on this large ensign.

Hi Le Bosco,
Congratulations for this beautiful battleship. Its place in a museum!
I do not see very well, but the flagstaff should be in wood.
Sorry for my English because I'm French.
you have to start now, the battlship Jean Bart (year 1955)

thanks gentlemen's
channell, the mounting of richelieu ,was realized for two years,in whistling the "Marseillaise"

for a project on the 'marine Franaise " this is recommended ,for example,to dry the paint faster,or get of the details more convincing !!
my family was happy that I finished
cheers
