true...was looking for correct word and radar came to mind...but should have been "gun director"

a quick dry put together of bridge part and pagode....ok..pagode isn't right name but its a good step to the Japanese pagode mast of their warships like Kongo

been adding some portholes, doors, ladders ....am I glad there are now photo edge stuff to improove things

back on the scheer....changed my radar position on top of mast..top elements where inversed ..finished it some more
and build the crane...modification of heller crane (drilled te whole to make it lighter) and added some realing wheels to have a functional one

I like showing how I work....might help others...or some might give me advice how to do better..
railings...I bend..then paint...then glue on
my forward castle is getting on...railings bend and paint...double AA gun build and paint..tomorow..fixing

not sur yet if those double guns are ok though...they seem to be correct...need 4

That�s a tricky picture, the flat surface with the door is actually part of the ship�s superstructure and not the gun shield. The back of the guns didn�t have steel doors just a canvas cover which could be rolled upwards when not needed.

this picture is of graf spee...but where their secondairy guns not same?...I was convinced that the main guns and secondairy guns where all the same on the 3 Deutschland class troughout their life span and different modifications.... in this picture there are clearly doors...very confusing and not many good pictures around on that fact

And another one. Of course these are peacetime photos and it's possible that steel doors were fitted later to Scheer too but I could'nt find any evidence to confirm or refute this. :scratch:
