Hello Denstore
This is "of garage kit",with all that entails this type of production  it's for my use personal, I am far from the sales approach

Hi gents
After the holidays, resumption of work in my shipyard!!
I decided to install the docking keels which are not present on the hull. I cut keels from the plastic card of 2.5mm of thickness, having drawn the place of the keels on the hull,I stuck them
Image
She are then sanded has flat on some sandpaper
Image
Obtaining this result, more thick towards the bow and the stern (arrows),and amidship very fine
Image
the final result
Image
I not going to make all the intakes of water under the hull!
Then, the superstructure of the turret of the rangefinder of 380 is detailled whit PE doors, plastic card, and one of my resin parts
Image
The turret is detailled ,and one news bathtub is instaled on the top
Image
The new optics of rangefinder
Image
the new mast of aerial
Image
And to finish, the master of the air intake
Image
All the temporarily installed parts
Image
see you latter
best regard

HI Dave

Thank you for your comment!your project of Arromanche (and Karel Dorma),has which level of progress is he ? Mine is for the moment has the stop, the fault has a lack of documentations on passageways !!What is funny, it is you that made, two projects ( T2 and Furtive frigate )that I would like to try to realize In one of my "eight lives"

Hi Nicolas
My Karel Doorman build has temporarily stopped for the same sort of reasons, lack of details on those passageways! I may have to portray something that might be suitable rather than completely accurate.
I know what you mean, so many kits so little time  (something I would never admit to my wife :heh: )

Best wishes
Dave.

Hello Nicolas,

I follow your VIIc boat from time to time and was really impressed by all the details you add to the scale 1/72 model.
I did not noticed you start a scale 1/350 Richelieu. Well I have taken a closer look to all the extra work and I was really impressed by all the fine and clean work you have made. Nice to see you try to add even small details like the air intake and the rangefinder.

One question, like me you work with styrene, what kind of glue do your use?

TIA
Cheers,
Christian

Thank you Christian for your comment!! I use TAMIYA glue extra thin or MR.CEMENT glue also extra thin !for me,the best glues ! before, I have used the Trichloroethylene....efficient !but too bad for my neurons :rolf_3:

Hello Jim
thank you for your appreciation,It is true that in this reference, Trump has forgotten many details and made unforgivable mistakes, but this has the advantage of allowing me "to have fun" on this model!!
