Thanks DavidP for your commentDavidP wrote:your 4 vertical "+" beams are located in the wrong spots plus missing a round post between the back 2 "+" beams. your frame work should match Pascal's framework https://i.postimg.cc/BvYQBt4y/Screensho ... 48-320.jpg with the vertical "+" beams located on the longitude beams #2 & #4 like this https://i.postimg.cc/cLWmzv1k/Screensho ... 19-537.jpg
1. I dont see where m'y 4"+" beams are wrong (check the picture of the original plans)
2. Thanks for the info on the 2nd round post
3. I dont have the PE set for matching Pascals superb work

Re: 1/350 Yorktown CV5 Battle of Coral Sea
OK DavidP....
Got your point but still if you look at the plans l dont see what you mean... and l think there is a mistake there are only 4 beam (red ones)
I think l will scratch build the structure since in the kit (the one l did so far)is not correct and l will try to do it like this you can see that the central beam is not present...
Thanks

Re: 1/350 Yorktown CV5 Battle of Coral Sea
Well....DavidP thanks to your comment l found out the mistake of the structure
The kit structure is 1.42mm thick which is waaayyyy to big so l will scratch build it in 0.6 or 0.7mm thick plasticard since in metal will be to difficult to cut and glue....(l'll try in metal but l don't think it will be ok)...
Have a nice evening

Nice. The exterior trusses came out great.
