HA! Yes it does. War has a funny way causing this when your in a hurry to beat Hitler's rear end.
Thanks for the kind words. Got some CGI work here for a couple of days and then back to it. The welds are 90%. Then the rivets.

Sorry I haven't posted much lately but the whole story and many pictures of the process are at my own forum. It's hard to make double posts sometimes.
A lot more done since last time. The Turret is roughed out but not done. Still lots of parts to add and I hope to finish today. Then the smaller guns. I will only make one as this is an all molded kit project not a one off. Same goes for many of the parts on this boat.
Here's a few pictures.

Great shots. I love the rivet work on the hull armor.

I know the problem Steve, Subpirates is the place to follow your expert builds. You never seem to make a mistake! Great to see you posting here!
I like this build too, something very different from most subjects here! Thanks for sharing it. (and many thanks for keeping me on your board)

Re: 1/25 Bronekater BK 1125 - Armored Patrol Boat
Still on the damn turret. Had to make a bunch of parts today and find a new California primer. And as it turns out this primer is the best I have ever used. The store is 2 minutes away from here too.
Still have to finish the hatches on the turret. As it turns out they are flush to the top of the turret with a raised ring abound them. Never though to look at my 1/16 T-34 and it revealed all. Even the hinges. That's tomorrow but the hard part is done. Barrel needs sanding but the over all turret looks much the same as the real deal. Lumpy, bumpy and the builders had too much Vodka when they built the darn things! LOL!
Here's one being built at the factory. The actual picture Gantu sent me is very hi res and revealed a lot. This shows how ruff things were coming out of the factory brand new!
And here's a few more. It's my first turret and most likely not my last, but I'm pleased how it turned out for a first attempt. A bit more fussing today and I can finally move on.
And thank Kenny. Glad you like it.

Here's the primer. Excellent and can only be bought from auto paint stores.

that primer looks great steve!! one thing though the barrel ... the lip at the end of the barrel... is different from the plans you have on Subpirates.

Re: 1/25 Bronekater BK 1125 - Armored Patrol Boat
Plans are often way off. Especially these BK plans. So take a look at the picture above from the factory of the real thing. I find it's always best to use actual pictures. In war time many short cuts were used. It's the "what ever works" principle. Same goes for the boat as the tanks (and planes). Every picture I see of individual boats and tanks shows something different and unique about them.

Steve,
I think Reid's correct since I've never seen a T34/76 barrel like that. The Soviets certainly used & modified just about everything through the war, but both the 76 & 85 versions had a straight barrel.
Your work is looking great! I need to find someway to smuggle some of that primer to China for my own use.

Well here's what I got from Gantu. There is a very slight taper and that's what I did. But the plans could be wrong. But I have about 5 versions of this turret and they all show the same thing. We are close enough gentlemen.

Here's another angle that shows it better. You know everyone that builds this will put their own spin on it.

oops!! i think shouldn't have mentioned it... i wish i could say this in a better why... the barrel looks great taper/length but the lip and the end looks like it could be over-scale... nothing to make a big fuss over

Now you've got me searching my files & the net. Again, they had many variations throughout the war so I won't say its wrong - just haven't seen one myself.
I came up with this but not sure if its from the official Soviet archives...
