Re: 1/350 french battleship RICHELIEU/l'Arsenal Upgrade Set
Hi all
I noticed that the arrangement of the bow, presented small differences in 1952, compared has its "refurbishing" in the USA in 1943
to start, bulkheads, which protects the servants of 20mm of the blast of 380
no longer has chests for the 20mm ammunitions , but shelves for "40mm chargers "

the round location for the 20mm is redone
The set presented on the deck

the bathtubs presents on the front, had reinforcements added(Arrows)

The modified bathtubs

Cabestants and winches are redone

I modified also the turrets of 380,the space between both openings(arrow)Is not correct

Having separated the front mask ,I inserted a portion of plastic profile of 2mm

The same after sanding ,to left, the turret not modified

The floor are going to be redone also in the next days

Has very soon
best regards
Nicolas

Hello gentlemen's
Michael thanks you for your feedbacks .The continuation of the work on the turret, I redid the present episcope on the roof of the turret

No ,it is not an insect, but, the bottom view of episcope
the turret with the news details

the new turret will be molded with the episcope and the present prriscope on the highly-rated .That going to will allow me to make the second turret "has lesser" price by elimination of some details
just for the size

and ,the picture of the new turret and the starter part of trumpy

I prefer that mine
best regards
nicolas

Re: 1/350 french battleship RICHELIEU/l'Arsenal Upgrade Set
hello all
thank you martin and iidesu
To finish it with the modifications of turrets,I had to realize the gun of 90 present on the two sides of the turret, as well as their recpective platforms
on the pic ,the new gun of 90 on left and on right ,the origin part of trumpy

The same, presented in a temporary way

Otherwise, the first parts in resin, previous masters, stemming from the last ones masters(the head and the base of the crane ,bathtub, pulleys, optics of rangefinders, and the airvents )

parts on the rangefinder

The chimneys of expansion of the gussets, present on the deck

the new blast bags

and for finish,my stock for the futur models

best regards
Nicolas

Le Bosco,
You continue to amaze us, sir. Please continue your posts. Watching your progress inspires scratch building.
Will you willing to sell any of your pieces to other people building a Richelieu?
Thanks for the postings. It's always a pleasure seeing your posts!

After a small problem in my the left inch, the work continuous on the rangefinders of 100mm

Hello all
thank you wargrider for your comment
The last progress an the end of the works on my speedboats
That of 11m

And that of 10.80

A view of the top

To remember their sizes

And to finish,a pic whit a model supplies by trumpy!

Here are the last parts, on whom I am going to work(There remains almost more parts, has to compare in departure of the project)

best regards
Nicolas
