Hi Jim, thank you for youre message, I have seen the pics from you off my Sara, thank you for that, also it,s my plan to make a work in progress off that model, I have a lot off photo,s for that but its for me because off my slow typping and poor English a lot off work. on this time I found a lot off plassure to follow the progress off the Richelieu because I am making that model also only mine model is the 1943 shape, many happy modelbuilding greethings Jos Visser

Hello gents
in First ,a happy new year for everybody
The last ones master's made
Another rangefinder!!!with his fairing

the two pieces next to each other(by trumpy and by me)

this rangefinder is located on the roof of the bridge, just before the blokaus
in 1952 the Richelieu had two 7-meter whaleboats located at level the turrets of 152,to port and starboard
the master of whaleboat with a tarpaulin

the projectors of 120 cm which in turn are going to undergo a makeover
the basis of work

the second stage,details

once again, the two pieces next to each other(by trumpy and by me)

What's wrong
and finally, the projector in place

it's all for now,to follow, the detailing of the anchors and propellers
best regards

Mima, for the moment ,no scratch
10 parts in resin and PE (there are no sights on the photo)

requires some patience to assemble the fourteen quad's (140 parts....)
the parts prepared for the painting

and just to be convinced to change the pieces Trumpy

the original parts are all just good to be featured on a space ship of bad SI-FI movie
we can diverted the bad parts Trumpy!!proof, remenber the last rangefinder (left

after the diverted! The first corkscrew in 350em only for the "chateau de l'erreurs"

best regards

I'll sort out a picture or two, Nicolas. I'm in the process of building it with a full lower hull.

Hi Nicolas,
Although I'm actually a carrier fan, some ships I do find interesting, like yours. Very nice 'work in progress'.
Cheers

What is truly eye-opening following Nicolas`s remarkable build is to realize how poor the original Trumpeter kit actually is. The effort to turn this dog of a kit into a masterpiece is all the more commendable.

Hello all
The latest news, the last pieces freshly molded
the turrets of 380 , the range finder located on the top of the funel, guns of 100, cranes, and a carrot with parts of the crane (desk, drive wheel, pulley)

the crane assembly

Now! it looks like something
and finally, just like that, and because it's been a while since I await the moment
One turret assembly (provisionally) and in place, next to the original

it's all for now, soon the new parts
best regards
Nicolas

HI gents
Thank you for your kind comments
I started mounting the 20mm guns by the conical guns mounts (four parts for each)

as I'm only twenty guns mounts for my version(1952) of Richelieu (against fifty in 1943),I can afford the detailing of the guns of 20mm.The PE of l'Arsenal is very good for the scale ,but ,I'll try to give volume to the guns
My first try (in white ,mine...)

And to better realize, one of each on a gun mount
l'Arsenal

mine

and to better realize of the scale

Do not hesitate, if you have an opinion on the subject(redo them or not)
best regards
Nicolas
