Mima, for the moment ,no scratch  Indeed, I begin to mounting from on the box , the 40mm quad from L'arsenal
10 parts in resin and PE (there are no sights on the photo)

the parts prepared for the painting
Image
Image
and just to be convinced to change the pieces Trumpy
Image
Image
the original parts are all just good to be featured on a space ship of bad SI-FI movie
we can diverted the bad parts Trumpy!!proof, remenber the last rangefinder (left  )
Image
after the diverted! The first corkscrew in 350em only for the "chateau de l'erreurs"

I'll sort out a picture or two, Nicolas. I'm in the process of building it with a full lower hull.

Hi Nicolas,

Although I'm actually a carrier fan, some ships I do find interesting, like yours. Very nice 'work in progress'.

Cheers
Jeroen

What is truly eye-opening following Nicolas`s remarkable build is to realize how poor the original Trumpeter kit actually is. The effort to turn this dog of a kit into a masterpiece is all the more commendable.

Mille bravos et bon courage notre ami Nicolas !

HI gents

Thank you for your kind comments
I started mounting the 20mm guns by the conical guns mounts (four parts for each)

Image

as I'm only twenty guns mounts for my version(1952) of Richelieu (against fifty in 1943),I can afford the detailing of the guns of 20mm.The PE of l'Arsenal is very good for the scale ,but ,I'll try to give volume to the guns
My first try (in white ,mine...)

Image

And to better realize, one of each on a gun mount

l'Arsenal

Image

mine

Image

and to better realize of the scale

Image

Do not hesitate, if you have an opinion on the subject(redo them or not)
best regards
Nicolas
