Trying to get some inspiration from a very fine build of the Glencoe Oregon done in 1998 by an armor fan: very nice work indeed. This is a kit that requires some serious surgery. The Brazilian modeler doing the Oregon uses what he calls "plasticard" for some pretty major work. (Like raising the turret by 2mm.) I've googled the term and it appears that "plasticard" is sheet styrene as sold by Evergreen or Gale Force. But the stuff this gent is using looks to me more like some kind of cardboard. He makes 2mm parts with ease: I think 2mm would be very thick Evergreen. Anyway below is a picture. I'd sure like to know what it is.
