1/350 LCS 1 Freedom from Cyber Hobby

Anyone else building this version?? People more knowledgeable than me said it's more accurate than the Trumpeter kit.





I'm having a lot of trouble finding pictures of the big starboard door (at the waterline). Does anybody have any pictures of how boats are lowered from there? There's got to be a crane system or something.

That should be the starboard door in its closed position. Hard to make out details of the overhead area, though. However, if this illustration is anything to go by, there should be a track overhead for deploying the Remote Multimission Vehicle: http://media.defenseindustrydaily.com/i ... way_lg.jpg

Thanks for the responses. I found these from the USS Fort Worth:


This looks very "empty'. No crane system or anything. Also notice that the big doors seem to slide open and remain outside of the hull, like a minivan door. I can't find any picture of the Freedom or the Fort Worth with the side doors open to confirm this.

Thanks for the kind words. I finished attaching all the railings that came with the kit. I have to say the photo-etch parts for this kit fit really well with the model.


But... the railings on the forward part of the ship looks too tall to me.
