Hey Guys,
This evening I was given the Nautulis wood deck for CV-8 from a gentleman in my model club. In the instructions it says not to paint with acrylics as it can warp the deck. I generally only work in acrylics. Is there a way I can pull this off with some sort of coating in the deck?
Like wise is there anything I should know about this deck versus the kit?
Thanks in advance,

Re: Nautilus wood deck
Don't do this until you get confirmation from someone who knows it better, but I recall reading that if you paint both sides with the same amount of paint, the warping will cancel each other out.
De quoi s'agit-il?

Re: Nautilus wood deck
Used a Nautilus deck on my 200 scale Arizona and did not treat it at all. I used the 3m Super 77 sprayon glue recommended by Nautilus
to apply deck and nearly 2 years on, it still looks as good as the day it was put on. Worked for me - hope this helps.

DO NOT use acrylics. I painted both sides of my nautilus wood deck for the Lexington and it warped badly.
