Hi all,
I am thinking of scratch-building an Admiralty Trawler. After much googling, it seems the only commercially available plans are from Mr John Lambert.
I wondered if anyone has any experience using his plans? Unfortunately, neither his website nor Model Dockyard (a vendor) show any visual glimpses of the plans (for obvious reasons). In the past I have bought plans sight unseen and been bitterly disappointed (not Mr Lambert's I hasten to add).
I would imagine his plans are scale and very accurate. Yes?
I am reasonably experienced in scratchbuilding.
Any advice gratefully received.
Best wishes
Chris

I second JCRAY's assessment. John Lambert has some of the best plans on the internet. And they are an incredible value. I have bought literally dozens of his weapons sets and haven't spent more than a couple hundred dollars total. I have never once been disappointed in any of them. I wish more people knew about them because he is definitely one of the people our hobby should be supporting. And he's a great guy.
