Very nice, I like it :thumbs_up_1: ... which scale? The common 1/350 Arizona?
If yes, can you please tell what you have changed to the kit all?

Cheers,
Christian

Christian, this was a hobby boss 1/350 Arizona that I converted to the Pennsylvania. The super structure is scratch built as is all the deck vents and most of the deck detail. The ship was hand painted (I don't have an airbrush) the PE i used was from Toms model works Arizona and the 5/25 inch guns are from veterans models. The 5/51 inch guns on the deck were scratch made. I also used WEM pe for the control tops.
Thanks for the compliment!

Another great build. Just how many of these have you built anyway? So far I've seen three terrific models which is pretty impressive from a two ship class! :heh:

Seriously, another model to be proud of.

Nice! You did it the old fashion way - congrats! I am surprised no enterprising resin company has released a conversion kit for the AZ - in any scale - yet.

This info makes your model much more amazing as it still was ... great job! :thumbs_up_1:

@ Martin

In general the manufacturing companies make a far detour around the US Dreadnoughts as plastic kit or even "aftermarket" with sets for conversions in 1/350 scale ... and this is totally annoying :-(

Your welcome! Your right there are some really amazing builds for sure. I really admire those who work with the 1/700 and smaller scale. I'm starting a 1/700 Maryland (1927) and I have only done the 1/350 scale, so I'm hoping I can do as well as they do.
Again Thanks!

Stunning ship. I like the colour scheme on the aircrafts. (Grumman Ducks?) :thumbs_up_1:
