Plastic glue question

Post by Rangercva61tgp »

I am currently re-attaching an island on my aircraft carrier and would like to know how to get some of the glue residue off before I re-attach it.

Most plastic glues (cements) contain solvents that attack the plastic and become part of it. I think you will have to sand off the glue residues if it is visible and then restore any detail that is lost. :wave_1:

Can you post pics of where the residue is and how thick it is? :wave_1:
