Clearing with Future

Post by Santacarl »

Hello all,

In an effort to stock up on supplies for my upcoming build I went looking for some Future acrylic floor wax/covering.... I can't find it locally but did notice that most places around here carry Pledge acrylic floor covering..... Has anyone ever tried it? I'm a bit hesitant to try something like that without knowing its chances for success..... The thought of over spraying a completed model only to have it destroyed is not something I want to contemplate.

Thanks.....SC

Check this page out - it may apply to what you're seeing in stores: http://www.swannysmodels.com/TheCompleteFuture.html

Thanks for the link Timmy. I appreciate your taking the time to post it.

Wow....I now know how it feels to try and drink from a firehose! ha....

Maybe it's me, just trying to keep up with all the jumping around, but seems there are some conflicting things in that article.... It actually has me a bit less likely to give it a try after reading some of the negatives..... I might just stick with a clear from one of the model paint manufacturers....
