Fine tweezers

What is the finest tweezers you could recommend? Mine are okayish, but when you go for real tinest parts in Rainbow or 5* kits, it's been tough

The smallest pair of tweezers that I have,came with a Swiss Army knife.
They slide out of the knife handle,and measure just 1 3/4" overall.

I don't care that much about overall length, more about how fine are the tips

in the meantime I make do with surgical tweezers I bought in india for $6.00

you could buy similar 'surgical' grade tweezers on amazon, ebay etc for even less. you may have to do some filing/grinding to make them just right.

What about some model tweezers, like Tamiya? Does it make any sense to buy them.

Hmm, it looks like you can grab dumont much cheaper. Probably, those are non-medical alloys or smth. Just ordered one from Amazon for around C$30

I asked the same question a while back and a member here pointed me to Otto Frei, the maker of jewelers' tools. I bought the tweezers at the link below and have thanked the gods ever since. Super fine and very precise. Not cheap, but worth every penny when I consider that I use them constantly.
