A good book on the scharnhorst

Post by terry1956 »

Hi, can any point me in the direction of a good book on the Scharnhorst please. I am looking for a book with good drawings of upper decks, details on deck fittings etc. I purchased one book which turned out to useless. I am working on a 5 foot radio controlled model and would like to add some detail, working lights etc and need details of type and positions along with lots of other bits and bobs. Thanks

Not drawings, but if you are interested in photographs I would recommend "The Battleship Scharnhorst: The Crew Photo Album". Loads of nice on-board photos, great for figuring out details.

Which book did you purchase? I have several books which might be useful.
