Have you an entry point for the resin, and an exit point for the air, also sqeeze the mould a little and watch the resin going up and down, fill mould to the very top it will settle down as it sets, any eccess you can cut off when set. :wave_1: :wave_1: :thumbs_up_1:
Simple but effective.

Yes, it is in fact very simple if you have the know how. Please take a look at my report, as there are two workflows of making a mould and casting.
http://www.shipmodels.info/mwphpBB2/vie ... &start=105

I try to sum up:
1. roll out plastillin
2. press the parts in it
3. make a frame and press it in the plastillin around the parts
4. spray Lusin - a form release agent
5. put in silicone (at first with a painter, then cast it)

6. Remove the plastillin and turn the mould with the parts around and on the table. Put the frame on it from the other side.
7. spray Lusin - very important!
8. repeat 5.

9. mix resin
10. take a toothpick and drop the resin into the mould, if you worked it in the smaller parts, then cast
11. IMPORTANT: wait till it starts to gelatize, then press both moulds together. You don't need to "cast" it really. It's more or less filling the moulds and pressing the redundant resin out by pressing the moulds together.

I hope my english was sufficient to explain the process. If not don't hesitate to ask. The pictures show it quite good.
