Allright folks, time for me to yell for assistance.
I'm working on a old Loose Cannon 1/700 Vincennes which is a rather rough kit but cleaning up to look rather intriguing. However, the deck details and, consequently, all of the molded planking has to go; uneven and atrocious looking it is. I've attemped to scribe sheet styrene but I can't get the grooves evenly spaced even with a jig and the scriber cuts still tend to wander with the slightest force. So, I'm about to go mad. I think I will just replace the deck with VERY THIN pre-fabbed grooved sheets of EVERGREEN... IF... they make the stuff. Does anyone have a clue whether they do or not as I can't tell by the products nor the dimensions they give on their website?
If anyone has a better or more accurate idea I'm all ears.

Yeah, I would also suggest using Evergreen V-groove sheets. The smallest one, with 0.65mm groove distances would look fine I suppose, in 1/700 it would result in an 455mm wide planks, less then 2 inch in real.
