Vacuum tweezers and photo etch

Post by davidwaples »

Greetings everyone. Has anyone ever used vacuum tweezers with photo etch? I'm thinking in terms of hatches and such. Is this a good or bad idea?
Thanks
Dave

I'm not sure if I'm talking about the same thing. I once bought this:

I used it for 1/100 scale stuff. Too often it did not what it should. Today I have different approaches, for example using a thin rod, tipping it with rubber glue, sticking the rod to the PE part and wait until dry. Then I glue the PE part were it belongs with CA glue. The rod with the remains of rubber glue can be removed without stains.
