What's "promotional claim code" on amazon?

Post by Nansung »

When I purchase books on amazon,
I see this "gift certificate or promotional claim code" option,
I can understand what is a gift certificate, but I don't know what's "promotional claim code" and how can I get one.
Anyone can explain it to me?
Thanks! :wave_1:

GIFT CERTIFICATE-- You get one when they think you have purchased quite a few books.

Some times they have a promotion on where they sell things cheaper, but only on a few items, something they want to push thats not moving at all, :wave_1: :wave_1:
Simple but effective.

A promotional code is essentially like a discount coupon. You might receive one if you buy over a certain amount of books, or if you purchase items from one of Amazon.com's corporate partners. Do you know those brochures and flyers enclosed in the box when you receive a shipment from Amazon? Look throught them next time you place an order, and see if any of them are offers that might lead to getting a promotional code. It might not be for very much, such as free shipping, so may not be worth pursuing. Good luck...
Best,
