Brass barrels

Post by Grant Goodale »

Rocco -

I have Steve Nutalls excellent brass barrels for my 1/72 Revell Schnellboot. I am planning to use CA glue to attach them but I guess that white glue might also work.

In order to give the paint something to adhere to, I sprayed them with grey automotive primer.

As for the blast bags, I would tend to do them after attachment.

yes it does, and I would recommend using that. My Littorio came with aluminium barrels and I used CA to glue them in. As for blast bags, I put them on after the barrel is gled to the turret. :wave_1:
